New concourse at Nashville International updates city’s front door, facilitates more expansion and renovations

The 115,000-square-foot Concourse D at Nashville International Airport, which opened last summer, includes six domestic aircraft gates occupied by Southwest Airlines, several art displays and upgrades requested by customers, such as more power outlets. The $292 million, 25-month construction project also expanded BNA’s ticketing lobby and baggage claim by adding 200,000 square feet of space

$245 million project underway at the Memphis International Airport

A multi-year plan to modernize and expand the Memphis International Airport is moving along. The Concourse B project will widen corridors and create a larger boarding area, but it will also consolidate airline, retail and food operations. The $245 million project started in January 2019 and is expected to take two years to complete.
