Knoxville Airport to Receive Funds for New Hangar

The Knoxville Municipal Airport will be the recipient of $150,000 to be used towards the construction of a new T Hangar at the airport. The money comes from the Iowa Transportation Commission, which approved $7.6 million for the fiscal year 2020 State Aviation Programs.

McGhee Tyson Airport awarded $10.6 million grant to reconstruct runways

Congressman Tim Burchett announced Friday that McGhee Tyson Airport will get a $10.6 million grant to reconstruct its runways. The Airport Improvement Program discretionary grant is from the U.S. Department of Transportation.
