New SFO observation deck opens with runway views

A new outdoor observation deck at San Francisco International Airport will offer sweeping views of one of the airport’s busiest areas. SkyTerrace cost $6.3 million to construct and is part of a larger $59 million project funded by SFO that will also see the creation of a new employee, airline and lounge space above Terminal

$21 million increase approved for California airport improvements

The Long Beach City Council has approved a contract amendment for terminal area improvements to the Long Beach Airport. The contract amendment will raise the original amount by at least $21 million, bringing the new total to roughly $80 million. The project will create a new ticketing building and retrofit the historic terminal building.
