$21.4M awarded to Detroit Metro Airport for reconstruction

Detroit Metro Airport received $21.4 million from the latest installments of grants from the Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Improvement Program. The grant will support runway reconstruction at the airport. Detroit Metro is currently undergoing a $256 million reconstruction of a 70-year old departure runway.

Five N.Y. airports set to receive $12.3M in FAA grants
