Grant awarded for Duluth, Minn., airport work

A $7.3 million federal grant is advancing planned reconstruction of taxiways at Duluth International Airport in Minnesota. The money from the Airport Improvement Program will go toward a projected total of $60 million to $70 million worth of work over five to 10 years.

Minnesota’s Wadena Airport receives $135K grant

The Wadena Airport has received $135K from the United States Dept. of Transportation to seal the pavement on runways, taxiways and the apron. The funds are part of a $520.5 million national investment, with $2.45 million going towards airport safety and infrastructure grants in Minnesota.
