The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has unveiled artist’s renderings of the massive $9.5 billion Terminal One, which is to be built on the footprint now occupied by Terminal 1, the recently closed Terminal 2 and the former Terminal 3 at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Construction will be carried out in phases, starting with new arrivals and departures halls and 14 new gates to open in 2026, and is part of a $19 billion overhaul for New York City’s biggest international airport.
