It’s a big day for Quincy Regional Airport as officials start cashing in on one million-dollars of federal grant money.
Quincy mayor Kyle Moore said the money comes from an entitlement the airport received after 10,000 passengers passed through the airport last year.
City leaders said this shows just how important it is for people to use the essential air service.
“We would not qualify for this million dollars had it not been for passengers utilizing Quincy Regional Airport,” Moore said.
