Ohio airport secures $5 million grant for new taxiway

Planes flying into the Wayne County Airport next year should expect a much smoother ride after they land.

The U.S. Department of Transportation awarded the county airport more than $5 million in grant funding under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Program…The grant money will go toward designing and constructing a full-length parallel taxiway this fiscal year. The estimated cost of the project is $5.2 million.
