A busy airport in northeast Missouri has received millions of dollars in funding to make local travel safer for its passengers. Kirksville Regional Airport has been awarded federal money through the Airport Improvement Program (AIP). In total, the airport will receive $3.3 million through the program to rehabilitate both a runway and a taxiway.
