Progress continues at the Brownsville – South Padre Island International Airport.
Right now, on-going construction towards the creation of a new terminal by late 2020. As reported, the current terminal will be demolished and replaced by a new facility. Once complete, the project will be in compliance with federal standards.
The Brownsville airport plans to operate without interruption during the construction of the new terminal. The project cost is estimated at around $44 million.
