Gainesville Regional Airport will have two new terminals and new amenities after about two years of construction.
Shovels will break ground Thursday at Gainesville Regional Airport, when construction begins on the two-year, 15,200-square-foot project.
In September, the Gainesville Alachua County Regional Airport Authority was awarded a $12 million federal grant for the project, the airport’s largest grant to date.
