Nevada airports are among hundreds across the country receiving grants from U.S. DOT and the FAA for renovations and updates.

The Reno-Tahoe International Airport is receiving more than $31 million to reconstruct a runway and taxiway and to rehabilitate the runway lighting. The airport served nearly 4.5 million passengers last year.

The North Las Vegas Airport is getting $800K to study the future needs of the airport near downtown Las Vegas and to update a master plan.
