Officials are getting closer to finalizing the design for a new multi-million dollar terminal a Montana’s Missoula International Airport. The terminal will feature a “Montana modern” design with wood, patterned glass and steel, and is expected to cost about $72 million.
The airport received $9.2 million in federal airport improvement grants this year to support constructing the terminal building. Passengers also will experience more room and more amenities in the new terminal. A larger restaurant, bar and concession is planned beyond security, along with a gift shop.
