Sawyer International Airport in Michigan is getting a $400,500 federal grant to pay for airport safety and infrastructure upgrades. Sawyer Intl. will use the money for runway and taxiway projects in addition to renovating a sand and chemical storage building, the U.S. Department of Transportation announced.
