The Marion County Commissioners Court approved amendments to an airport improvement project, funded by a TxDOT grant, to make Jefferson’s Cypress River Airport not only better, but safer.
The $469,300 grant was initially approved in 2017 for the long-term project, which consists of three phases over a period of years, introducing lighting upgrades, planning, and engineering work.
