For the next seven months, Grant County, West Virginia passengers will be using a temporary modular building directly east of the David D. Diaz Terminal, which is undergoing a much-needed renovation.

Rebekah Wenger, airport manager, explained that Grant County put up about $115,000 for the renovation, while also securing state and federal monies in order to make the terminal project happen.

“The [Federal Aviation Administration] put up roughly $336,000 from general obligation bonds, and we got about $315,000 from the state [New Mexico Department of Transportation] Aviation Division,” Wenger said.
