Fort Worth Alliance Airport receives third grant in a month, will enhance safety

Fort Worth Alliance Airport received its third grant in a month, according to a July 31 announcement from the city of Fort Worth.

The airport, located in the AllianceTexas development in northeast Fort Worth, received $758,510 through the Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Improvement Program. The funding will be used to upgrade 700 feet of runway lighting and improve safety.
