Officials at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport announced a $13 million project to widen the main runway at the airport with construction set to begin in March.
The expanded runway could open up more opportunities for the airport, including more flights, destinations and potentially freight companies. A federal grant is helping to cover a large portion of the project.
