The Dayton International Airport celebrated the completion of the first phase of a terminal modernization project. This phase of the project cost nearly $29 million.

Among the updates is a reconstructed front drive, new lighted bollards, added access, and replaced the old canopy with a modern glass canopy. There’s a new valet and shuttle bus booth, new glass curtain walls to allow natural lighting into the terminal, and relocated the car rental facility from baggage claim to the garage.
