The Dayton International Airport has been awarded a multi-million-dollar grant from the federal government.
The Federal Aviation Administration granted $4.3 million to the local airport as part of its Airport Improvement Plan Supplement Grant program. Funding from the grant will be used for safety and infrastructure improvements.
The grant comes as the Dayton airport wraps up the first phase of an eight-phase terminal modernization project.
