A $7 million renovation project at the Appleton International Airport is over, just as the airport is named third busiest in the state. It’s been more than 13 months since a renovation project broke ground — showing those flying in and out an entirely new look. Appleton International Airport Director Abe Weber said, “We’ve expanded our ticket counters, expanded our baggage claim and our restrooms, all for future growth. We’ve taken our checkpoint and pushed that out for maximum square footage, brought in some natural light, created a living wall to bring job and delight to customers.”
