Arizona airports get $37M in FAA grants to improve terminals

Two Arizona airports will receive nearly $37 million in the latest round of grant funding from the federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport will receive $36 million for upgrades at its central utility plant in Terminal 4. Yuma International Airport will receive $950,000 to upgrade its security camera system.

Terminal 3 North Concourse at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport opens Feb. 3

The North Concourse inside Terminal 3 at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport will open to the public and begin servicing departing and arriving flights on Monday, Feb. 3, 2020, airport officials announced Tuesday during a media preview event. The newly-renovated concourse has 10 gates, a few new restaurants and bars, seating areas with cellphone charging
