$400 million improvement plan unveiled for Louisville airport, construction underway

Several planned improvements have been unveiled for Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport. The $400 million capital improvement project is referred to as SDF Next. There are also plans to add an express parking lot featuring shuttle service to the airport. Travelers will also have the luxury of new baggage claim carousels, restrooms, and moving walkways.

$12.1M grant announced for Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport
