Another key phase in the Kansas City International Airport’s $1.5 billion single-terminal modernization project is underway. The airport’s developer has begun work on the foundation for the new terminal.
The full project is expected to take about four years to complete with the airport projected to open the new terminal in the first quarter of 2023.
